Down Comforter?

Does down comforters cause anyone to sweat?

We just starting using one and I have been waking up in the middle of the night in a deep sweat.

What are other options for duvets?

Why don't you get a summer-weight down comforter? I bought one for our guest bed. It's nice and light, and now for winter-time I have a heavy quilt at the bottom of the bed for guests to use in case the comforter isn't warm enough.

Mine and DH's bed has the heavy down comforter on it so we don't need blankets. Last night we slept with the windows open but I was nice and warm under the comforter. It can get pretty hot under there though! Most nights I sleep with the ceiling fan on!
