Down Comforters / Duvets

Does anyone know where to find inexpensive down comforters? I have been looking around and something decent seems $200.00 and then the duvet cover about $200.00 that is without sheets and accessories, I can’t see spending $600.00 on one set. Any help?

For the wedding,we registered at a few stores. One was JC Penney & we had picked a down comforter as one of the items. We got it and we tried it once and unfortunately it went in the closet immediately. We were extremely warm with it and couldn't use it. I guess it would be good if someone had a fever and the chills.

I don't remember the price. I think it was around $150 or so.

JCPENNY'S just had one on sale-a whole set for $99

Try Macy's when they are having a sale.

Honestly, we use a down comforter and duvet. It is worth spending the $$ on the down comforter. If you get a cheap one you will notice that all the feathers ball up together and you end up with flat corners and the feathers aren't distributed evenly through-out it.

Try Ikea. I saw a bunch there that were under $100

girl - OVERSTOCK.COM!!!!! I got a King down comforter, premium quality, for $100!!
It's awesome - it has baffling (boxed) so the down doesn't shift, and the down is good quality. It's nice and heavy too. I love it!

i got mine at bed, bath, and beyond. look out for the 15-20% coupons that come out sometimes. you can usually find the coupons in bridal magazines too.
