My grandmother and my Dad maybe?... my grandmother definitely but i had an all again off again relationship with my dad but I am never going to get to do this again (hopefully) so i think i should have something special with him just once. my mom on the other hand wants to walk me down too and is NOT happy that i didn't ask her or my step father. I dunno

My father will be walking me down the aisle at my mom's request. I didn't really care since I am not close to him, but my mom said it would mean a lot to him (and I am the last of the children to get married). The only problem will be if my FMIL makes a stink since we are having a jewish ceremony and expects both my parents to walk me.

i tried to get both but my mom refused lol

I'm not close with my dad, so this was a hard decision for me.

I've always wanted my grandfather to walk me down the isle because he basically raised me after my parents got divorced, but he passed away a few years ago , so that's out.

So then I wanted my younger brother because we are very close and stuck together through everything.
but my mom said I'm my fathers only daughter and this is something he has been looking foward to since I was born and although we aren't as close as I would like us to be, he is walking me down the isle because it's only right.

But I may have my mother on my other side, since they both technically raised me!
