dr. appt. update

just cause i have nothing to do at 7:30 am...figured i'd update you all!

Had an appt yesterday - I actuallly lost two pounds which is great news on the swelling front. She said the baby is around 5-5.5 pounds, head down and doing wonderfully with a nice strong heartbeat and tons of movement. She was able to tell me that the big huge bump that keeps rising 4 inches from my right belly is my little one doing some tushy time! and on my left side is probably a heel or knee. It was so exciting to know for sure where she is at! She said not to expect her to move from this position now - just a lot of squirming and that everything looks right on target.

I go next week again- weekly now until the end, and next week I get the Group B Strep test. We are coming down to the wire! I am so excited!!!!

I remember those heels and feet just sticking out of the side of my ribcage towards the end, you'll miss that feeling!!

Isn't it exciting! Glad to hear everything is well... I get that same lump on the right side of my belly, and the other spots too! It can get pretty tall! I go to the dr tomorrow morning at 8:15am. I'm getting a sonogram, and the Group B test done also. Not looking forward to that. If the baby was 5lb 12oz at 32 weeks, how big do you think he is now? I'm guessing 7lb 5oz.? If he gets too big, I might ask to be induced early if possible. I don't want to give birth to a 10lb + baby!!! That'll hurt more!

my dr. said there is no way to know how big she'll get. she said they try not to estimate unless it seems like the baby is really huge. she said the 5 - 5.5 lb thing after I basically BEGGED her to tell me. They are cautious over there because every question I ask opens a new can of worms! I bet they can't wait till I deliver this baby and get out of their hair!!

This was the most exciting time of the pregnancy for me. I hope you are enjoying it, and I'm so glad that things are continuing to be smooth and easy for you.
