Imagine if it was a wedding today, come on noone would have ever thought snow in April.

Actually, we almost had our wedding the first weekend in April
Not this year though, we were looking at 2008. Then we decided that was too far away...

It would have really sucked to have this nasty weather though!

How glad you must be right now!! Good choice!
But then again the weather is the worst thing when planning a wedding b/c when we originally started we were thinking like Sept/Oct b/c it may still be slightly warm to go outside but when thinking about the last couple of years....the end of Oct/Nov were pretty warm too! You just can't win!!

there's a good one in Oceanside (which is SOuth Shore, by LOng Beach/Baldwin... it's on Long Beach Road... I think it's called Pete's (how appropriate for you! Clam House....

I loooooove Peter's clam bar.. it's SUCH a hot spot in the summer...

What about Lenny's on Cross Bay Blvd???

You guys..I just don't know where one darn thing is in NY .

My guests will mainly be in the JFK/Laguardia airport area...with a couple staying at the garden city hotel.

Obviously they are gonna need to drive..and we may look into providing some transportation...

But so long as these places aren't in BFE...we're good to go...

Hi again Nina! I can't find the one I was thinking of in Long Beach but there are a couple in Port Washington.....one is Dimaggio's On The Bay...it over looks the water...and for the life of me I'm trying to remember the other good one that we used to go to...you can watch the boats come in...I'll try and rack my noggin! HTH

ETA: Still can't think of the one I had in mind but not sure if anyone mentioned this seafood place called Louie's Shore Restaurant? It is also in Port Washington...about 20 min probably from GC Hotel...I live right around the block from that basically! I see you have a lot to google so I'll let you use these two for now and if you need more let me know! Glad to help!

I say have the clam bake out this way, get rooms for everyone at Soundview I can get the info for you and take everyone wine tasting, that way they can have a little cheese w/their whines!
