don't think I am doing anything drastic - besides the weight loss (but honestly, the wedding is just the motivation I need to do what I set out to do a long time ago).

Me too!

I had braces twice when I was a kid! Once I got my braces off in high school, I had a metal put behind my bottom teeth to keep them aligned! I still have it there! I also still have to wear a retainer for my upper teeth once a week. I know I'm a dork! But hey, my parents spent tons of money for me to have straight teeth!

I never understood why teeth have to keep moving!

I'll probably get my teeth whitened before the wedding. That's the only drastic thing I can think of!

dont be nervous THEY ARE AMAZING!! Just take some time to get use too... I work for a dentist and he has done all of my Lumineers (they are a brand of veneers where you do not need to grind down your teeth to get them..they are simply glued to the fronts of your teeth and could be removed if you ever decided they were not for you)

where are you getting them done?

they run aprox $1,275-1,475 per tooth

I do the in office teeth bleaching in the dental office I work for (i'm a dental assistant). If any ladies are interested I could see if the doc would do a discount if we could get a few girls to do it.

In my opinion they were totally worth getting...I love my teeth

I wish I had braces as a kid, but my teeth were relatively straight.

My teeth and jaws got more and more painful over the past few years, so I finally decided to start treatment in the spring of 2009. I started with braces, then jaw surgery, and I'm finishing up with the braces in the next few months.

FH also had major surgery this year, so we planned the wedding around our recovery times.

definitely let us know! i'd definitely be interested in doing some bleaching. i wore braces for 7 years but i had a tooth pulled this past summer and now my bottom teeth are all crooked again. definitely don't have the money for braces or invisilign now though oh well.

i decided to stop eating altogether

no but I am going to the gym TWICE a day
and I'm also getting teeth whiting @ the dentist office

it's call FOREVER WHITE, they custom fit a tray and give me the stuff in crest whiting strips, but like 5 X the strength (and i get free gel for life)

but people think I'm crazy cause my teeth are pretty white already LOL
