Dream weddings...

So do you have any venues or vendors that you are going to check out because you've dreamed of them as part of your wedding?

I have check out the Bourne Mansion and Oheka just because I have always wanted that Victorian, over-the-top mansion wedding. ((Dreams of grandeur, i know!))

To be honest, when I opened this post I thought this was going to be a post about wedding dreams/nightmares I hear of people having so often & I couldn't help but think OMG...not yet!!!

The site fee is what kills you at places like Bourne, Deseversky and Oheka. I did go look at Bourne Mansion and the place is absolutely gorgeous so old world and classy exactly what I imagined. The grounds are amazing, I did however feel that the menu didn't have as much food as most places but they charge you more then a lot of places do, and since food is very important to my FH it got ruled out lol. I always wanted a 1920's vintage inspired wedding but unfortunately all of the Mansions on the Island were just over our budget. Good luck!

2013'er crashing for a minute...check out the Woodlands! It is an old mansion in Woodbury...FH and I fell in love with it immediately. It might capture some of that old world feeling you are looking for...
