Dreams

I had a bad dream about the flower girl dress the other day. We didn't have time to get one and ended up with a white one even though my dress is going to be ivory.

As for hair/makeup, I've e-mailed a bunch of places but haven't really decided what to do yet. I can't believe how expensive they all are (prices shouldn't be a surprise at this point, everything has turned out to be more expensive than expected!). Prices seem to be pretty comparable for everyone I have e-mailed. I am thinking of trying out Fire Monkey Hair Design and Perfectly Blended by Vivian. Fire Monkey had the lowest prices and Vivian has an option for 1/2 makeup for BMs, I'm not entirely sure what that means, but figured my BMs would like that option so they wouldn't have to spend $70+ on makeup and still feel good about themselves.

FH thinks I am crazy for having these dreams.... oh well it gets the ball rolling.

Are you looking for someone to book for both, or are you looking to book hair and make-up separately?


mab30 - it may not be the same so I'd definitely inquire, but I work at a hair salon in Queens, and here 1/2 make-up means eye make up and lips ( no foundation, contouring, bronzer/blush etc). We find there are quite a bit of people say they have sensitive skin and prefer to do that part themselves with their own products. HTH

Im looking for either... whatever works best... I know some of my girls want to get hair and make up others just want hair and some just want make up.

Ok 9 months out and I am having reoccurring dreams that my hair/make-up person did not show up. I think this is all due to the fact that this is the one vendor I haven't even started to look at. Any recommendations where to start calling. Also, I need to get my hair highlighted, should I do that before I go for the trials? So much money I just don't want to spend it right now. :/
