I haven't been there but I was at Dreams Puerta Vallarta and I thought it was great. They had excellent service and it was nice that you had AI without having to sign for things or make reservations in advance for most of the restaurants.

Re: Dreams resorts in Los Cabos Mexico
I am actually going there for my honeymoon. I have heard many mixed reveiws. Me and FH have a friend who has stayed there manY times and has nothing but great things to say but if you go to trip advisor there are some not good reviews. We are very easy goIng people so we figured we would give it a shot because it looks beautiful. Our friend says it is just as beautiful as the pics online. I also know that it was remodeled in December 07 so thats always a plus. HTH

Re: Dreams resorts in Los Cabos Mexico
FH and I stayed there for our one year anni. 2 years ago. the resort was nice, but here are my gripes:
There were kids in the hot tub. They were spashing water all over FH and I and it was the furthest thing from romantic.
You couldn't swim in the ocean because of the undertoe.we had to take a bus into town to go swimming. the bus was about $24 a day If I would have known this before, i definitely wouldn't have booked there. If you aren't an ocean swimmer, than you have nothing to worry about.
Things I liked:
I liked the food. everything was good. The people who work there are really nice and accomodating.
the rooms were nice, the grounds were GORGEOUS, they had fun things to do during the day and some sort of them thing going on every night.
You can take a bus into town and go to the markets and there are a few clubs over there. We went to Cabo Wabo and had a BLASt.

When I called the resort they confessed almost immediately that the beach was not a place for swimming.
I absolutely asked about kids, etc. As we are HMing in October, the sales rep said there should be minimal kids, which I hope it true.
I am not anti children at all, I just know they can be anti-relaxing
Thanks so much for your info!!!!!!!

The pool on the grounds looks very big!
You can go TO THE BEACH near the resort, you just cannot go into the water.

I booked with Liberty Travel. At the time they were running an early bird special so we saved like 15% or something like that. I am a little concerned about kids too but I will be there in the beginning of October so I hope the kids are minimal. Don't get me wrong, I love kids just not on my honeymoon...lol!!

The Dreams chain is wonderful, I've been to Dreams Cancun and loved it.
Just wanted to say to take trip advisor reviews with a grain of salt, more people are more willing to write bad reviews than good..... and lots of people who write bad reviews have way too high expectations...
Looks like you've done lots of research. I hope whateve decision you make that you have a great time!
