Dress

I know I posted Saturday that I had bought my dress...well, since then I have been having major doubts. I called Bridal Reflections and they put a hold on my order. I am going back in tomorrow morning for another appointment. Am I the only one who went through this?? I feel like I am never going to be able to make a decision I will keep everyone posted on how it goes tomorrow.

I have second guessed almost EVERY decision I have made...but I am getting used to it...lol

Re: Dress

We all second guess - check out my posts on flowers if you want to get a real laugh!

Just take your time. Go tomorrow, look through some websites, see if anything else seems like something you might want to at least try on. You have time and should feel sure about your dress. There will be so many other things that you second guess on. My experience with this is that it is usually the first (or close to first) that you try on!

Good luck - keep us posted

Wow, I'm surprised they let you put a hold on your dress. What designer was it?

I am very surprised they put the order on hold- you lucked out. Another girl called the day after she placed her order and they told her the order was already placed.
Go back and try it on. It is a huge decision, one we all place a lot of thought on. I bet you will still love it but just need one more look.

Re: Dress

Thanks for the reassurance! I went back to Bridal Reflections in Massapequa this morning. I have nothing but absolutely wonderful things to say about that shop. They have been so accomadating and patient. I HIGHLY recommend them! They have beautiful dresses from a huge number of designers from $999 to $5000. Anyway, I bought a totally different dress today and I love it to death. I am so happy I listened to my inner voice- I know I made the right decision. So this is it, but no cap sleeves. Either strapless or a thin halter strap...
It is Jim Hjelm Couture- $2300. More than the first dress, but whatever. I am just thrilled to be in love with it!

Re: Dress

jlf41, congrats on your decision. your new dress is absolutely beautiful. i second the service at bridal reflections-massapequa. they have been so patient with me. i also went through so much trouble trying to decide on my dress. they let me try on the same two dresses back and forth for an hour to let me decide, and didn't bat an eyelash. they are really great.

congrats again. you made a good choice on your dress and the store!
