dress...

dress...

Went shopping today... tried this dress on and loved it...but was totally the opposite of what i was looking for. Now im so confused. What do you ladies think?

What were you originally looking for? When I was looking, I knew I wanted a traditional type of dress, but there were quite a few less traditional styles that I really liked too. In the end I decided that I was gonna go with my original vision, so I wont regret it later on.

THat dress is gorgeous! If you l ove it then go for it, I got caught between 2 dresses and really just decided by ignoring the dress decision for a little while, then when it was time to do it again the one I could remember was the one I decided on. I didnt get that 'feeling' or any special moment with it, I just kept thinking about 1 more then the other

First of all, I love the dress.
I picked a dress that was the exact oposite of what I wanted in terms of stye, but it made me feel good and look good, if that makes any sense. I did not go with the dress that I saw and loved in a magazine.

You know, when I first started wedding planning, I was overwhelmed by the choices. My rule of thumb is if it (the dress, the ring, etc.) stays on my mind and I think about it often, then it's the one I choose.

I also went with something different than I originally anticipated. The pps gave good advice that if a dress stays with you, then it's probably the choice for you.
