Dress

So I was at a family function taking pictures and someone asked to look at my pictures. They asked if there was anything on my camera that they couldn't see and I said no. As they flipped thru, they came across a picture of me in my dress. I was with them and quickly grabbed the camera and said you can't see that! Now granted it was a quick look they got and there was some convo about how they asked to look etc...and then they made a comment about how it reminds them of madonna. What does that mean?!?!?!

I'm really not too sure what the Madonna comment is supposed to mean...maybe that you looked that glam. Not too sure. Do you not want anyone to see your dress at all till the wedding? I'm only letting my BP see... so I'm the same way LOL

Does it have a lot of lace? I would love to see what it looks like... I love Madonna esp 80s Madonna!!! Do you love your dress? Dont listen esp. to family members- I just ignore the opinions of my family members anyway... its MY wedding lol

I don't mind if my BM's see but this wasn't one of them. And there is lace...I'm hoping that's what they meant! I'd post a pic but I don't know who lurks....if I put them up it will only be for a little and then I have to take them down.

Maybe they made a comment that you are a PRIMA DONNA....which basically means that you are sensitive and put your needs first above others. My dad always used to call me a 'primadonna' as a joke. Maybe they just thought that you were acting like a primadonna b/c you snatched the photo out of their hands and didnt want them to see it? (which you had every right to!!! I would have done the same!)

I'm hoping it was the lace that made them say that. I'm not going to bring it up to them again but it bothered me.

Such a stunning dress - it's so classically beautiful! I don't know what she could have meant by it but there's nothing bad that can be said... you look beautiful!

Camroy! That dress is sooo stunning!!! I have never seen so much detail to a vintage feeling dress. It's sooo beautiful! You're going to look amazing in April!!!
