My bridal party is wearing some sort of purple, not sure yet which shade. My mom wants to wear what the bridal party is wearing she thinks parents are part of the 'bridal party' and gets offended when I tell her i think different. Now she started a fight with my grandma and told her she needs to be in purple because she's going down the isle. What do i do? i dont want everyone in purple. The grandfathers are wearing a black/white tux the groomsmen are wearing purple vests and tie and the dad are somewhere in between. Is it ok if all the girls wear purple?

well...can you let your mom and your grandma get their dresses first and THEN choose a different shade of purple for your bridal party?
Why not just tell your mom that you don't want to see so much of the same color and maybe she could wear a complimentary color like blue?

If she is dead set on matching the bridal party maybe she could were a dark eggplant color and have your girls were a lighter shade of purple. (or vice versa) tell your mom that you want her to feel special and stand out a little from the rest of the girls.
