dress and shoes

SOOOOOOOO! I did my dress fitting yesterday. It’s gorgeous. The detailing on the front is blingy and pearly. It’s so pretty. I found a pair of shoes that are champagne with bling but I’m not too sure how I feel about champagne shoes with an ivory dress. Nowadays I know people do blue, pink, whatever, it’s so different, but my mother feels like I should get shoes to match the dress exactly. How do you girls feel about this? Honestly I will probably take off my shoes after the ceremony and pics.

I'm doing ivory shoes that match my dress for the ceremony and getting bright pink shoes to change into sometime during the reception. I love the look of colorful shoes under a wedding dress!

i think champagne and ivory might not go that well...can you take a pic to see? I think a color with a larger contrast would be good, or an exact match

My invites are champagne and ivory - looks nice... however, it is really dependant on the color.

ITA. It can look nice but it has to be the right shade. Do YOU like how they look with your dress? That's all that really matters. Besides, on the wedding day, nobody is going to be looking at your feet!

i am wearing blue shoes and my mom and FMIL are not fans of it. But i think that champagne shoes can look nice with ivory if its the right shade like the other girls have said. i would suggest just trying to go and see how they would look with your dress if you can.

if you look around you can find really georg ivory shoes....I had to search around but I found blingy ivory shoes that match exact to my ivory dress....

if you are looking for ivory try the company bourne, they sell them in nordstroms and lord & taylor they sell all their bridal shoes in ivory

I'm wearing green shoes all day, so don't ask me!

My sister was insistant on champagne shoes, but I said no. It doesn't really suit my personality

My friend had an ivory dress and she had red shoes ...it was so nice!@ with pictures and everything..but if you are going to take them off i would not worry about it ..the dress is long and no one looks at shoes
