I'm going to have mine bustled before I enter the reception, right after the cocktail hour. I don't want to have to carry it during the first dance and I don't want to have to leave to get it bustled during the reception either.
i originally going to leave it down but the more i think of it, the more it makes sense to bustle it cause I have a feeling I'll end up either tripping on it or just being really uncomfortable holding it for the whole dance. . .

I have a question about my dress bustle. When you enter your RH & your about to dance your first dance should your dress already be bustled or still down? I have seen it both ways & I don’t know which way is better. The last wedding I went too the bride had hers still down & she was holding it while dancing which she looked so uncomfortable doing & you actually saw all the tulle under her dress which I didn’t like. Any suggestions ladies? What is everyone else doing?![]()

i haven't given it much thought, but thinking about it now it makes more sense to bustle it before our entrance esp since my train is soo long..
You ladiese are the best - I didn't even think about this before - but i have to say I will probably bustle after CH
