dress change?

dress change?

Hey girls. Are you guys changing into a new dress for the reception? I planned to stay in my dress the whole time because I spent a lot of money on it but I was wondering what everyone was planning to do.

I get the point of changing dresses...but at the same time....what a waste of a lot of $!

It actually bothers me on david tutera when he makes me people change dresses for the reception. I'd be pissed after spending tons of $.

Then again, I'm getting married at RH, so i would literally change dresses after 20 min. lol

I am not changing into a different dress. I love my wedding dress and want to wear it as long as possible

Re: dress change?

I'm taking pictures BEFORE the wedding for a couple of hours and I really don't believe that FH should see me in my wedding dress, so I do have a second dress for that reason. On one hand, it sounds great to just take the pictures beforehand and enjoy as much as the wedding as possible with our guests, but at the same time... I don't want him to see me in our ceremony dress before the actual ceremony.

I don't plan on changing dresses.. I figure not only will I love the dress I choose but I'll probably spend a lot on it and I'll never have another opportunity to wear it.

I am not planning on switching dresses. I look at this way, I'm going to spend $$ on my wedding dress and there won't be another occassion I will be able to wear it. I might as well get my $$ worth and use out of it that whole night.

I am wearing my dress the WHOLE time!!! I mean I waited sooooo many years for this. From what I've read from previous brides the night goes pretty fast and I don't want to waste time changing especially like I said before you waited all these years for this. IMO

If I am going to speed all this money on a dress that I love why would I want to change into something else
I want the full day out of my dress
I still don't get why you would by a dress for a hour and then change it

I like the idea of a dress change, but hopefully I'll love my dress sooo much that I never want to take it off

I haven't decided yet. I guess it depends how much my ceremony dress will cost me!
