Hi ladies! What is the average price for cleaning and boxing your gown??? I still haven't done that yet TIA

I dropped mine off when I got back from our honeymoon and am paying $225. I'll be honest I ddin't shop around just went to my regular dry cleaner!

i HAVE to do this.....my dress is FILTHY OMG and its just thrown in the bag b/c i cut the hanger straps off the day of the wedding

i dont want mine preserved right away b/c i might want to wear it again who knows - for day after pics maybe or just to be silly....then in a few years i want to have it boxed up for good.....

i have NO CLUE where to go especially since i am in staten island

That's funny... Mine was filthy too. I figured the longer the dirt stayed the harder it would be to come out... as if it really matter becuase I do not have intentions of wearing it again. LOL. I thought about donating it and hoping someone else could be as happy as I was in it... but I couldn't part. In a box it will go!

Yeah, me either. I am in Manhattan and since everything is price gouged here I just wanted an idea of what people were paying so I could go in with that as ammo

I am having mine cleaned, it sat in my closet for 2 months and I finally just brought it One place did some special preservation and wanted $900 but after shopping around I am paying around $300.

I hate that I cant wear it again, I loved my gown. Maybe one day I will make my daugthers christening/communion dress out of it.
