Ok... I am dying to figure out a way to have the colors we want - red and blue... without looking like we are way too patriotic! Would adding gold as the accent color help? I was thinking this because we are having our reception at the Bourne... and the gold is really beautiful in that room... so the dresses might look like this... with red flowers??? PLEASE HELP!

We're the tenth... we want blue and red because of the Giants and that thy are our two favorite colors combined... it just seems so tricky to pull off
hmmm i totally undersatnd...what if you did a lighter blue? I saw some pictures of flowers the other day that were a lighter blue and red and it looked really pretty...maybe if you did a solid color blue dress with light blue and red flowers? the light blue might steer away from patriotic?
I was thinking that too... i totally didn't think about the primary colors when i saw the gold - but good call! That wouldn't look good at all...
That dress is gorgeous, looks lovely teamed with the gold belt, I'm not sure about red flowers with it though, I think it would have to be a bright red flower rather than a burgundy red ie. roses. Good luck
My original idea was to have this dress in navy with a berry sash... but FSIL does not like that idea
