Dress Coming In

How soon before your wedding should your dress arrive at the salon..

And how many of you lied about your date, i.e. bumping it up a month early..

Just curious..

I didn't lie.

My dress just came in last Thursday and my wedding is Oct 30th.

I ordered it in February.

I ordered my gown in mid-August 03, it arrived early-November 03. They told the manufactor that my wedding was July (instead of Oct) STILL that was a really quick turn around!

My dress came in May (ordered in November) my wedding is in October. I didn't lie

ok two months..

I didn't lie either-- It felt weird to lie about the date I am getting married- albeit for a worthy cause..

All my friends told me to lie- they all did it.. Just wanted to make sure I would have enough time..

I didn't lie about my date. I ordered mine in Jan and it just came in last week. Wedding is in Nov.

Mine came in last week, a little late bit they promised it would arrive and it did. I had a viewing yesterday and will have pictures later!!! (I can't wait!!)

I told them the actual date of the wedding and didn't bump it up. I never even thought to do that!!!!

I ordered my dress last October and it came in in Feb and my wedding is this October

I ordered my gown in April of 2003 and it arrived in January 2004. I did say that my wedding was in July not Sept.

I ordered mine last week, and they made my first fitting appt for 7/12/05!

Apparently the beading on mine is done overseas and takes 10 months...Who knew these things take this long!?!

Mine was ordered in February and it came in last month. Wedding isn't till next year, but we were afraid that it might have been discontinued.

I didn't lie about my wedding date.
I ordered my dress in early February. They told me it should be in by August. It came in sometime in early July, and I have my first fitting in September.
