FH and I went to the shop that I intended to order my dress from so he could look at Tuxes. GREAT, he found a few things he liked.
I was looking through the new Mary's catalogue that dress shop just received, and my dress wasn't there.
I asked Kem to check the book to see if it was discontinued, I was just there on saturday.
OMG they discontinued my dress. This is the 2nd time it happened to me.
Kem called Mary's and they said if I ordered it they would get it out.
THANK GOODNESS!
So I ordered my dress!!!

I almost did. I swear to you I love this vendor. He called 3 times to get the person he wanted to talk to, a woman he deals with often, to get a yes to the order!

That's really great that you were able to still order it - most manufactuers won't do that after the 'new' line comes out.

I am just thankful we were there that day. The list came out this past monday. My next appointment was 2 weeks from today to get BM dresses, it may have been too late!
I feel very lucky!

my wedding is in june of this year and i bought my dress in the summer of 2005 only b/c the girl at the bridal place told me it was going to be discontinued. i loved the dress so much i cried when i put it on so that's why i ordered it so early. thank god it still fits perfectly

I never realized it could happen so fast! This dress only came out 7 months ago..........it didn't sell well, which I am also thankful for! Now I have better chance of never seeing another bride in my gown!!
