Dress dilema

Dress dilema

I know i dont really post much, but i know you girls give great advice!
heres my issue- I ordered my gown in november at princess bridals, i loved the dress (hate the store), then yesterday when i went to look at my mothers gown that she picked out (another bridal shop) i fell in LOVE with another dress and like an idiot tried it on and fell even more in LOVE with it.... I put down a 300 deposit at princess bridals, i dont care if i get my deposit back but am i responsible for the balance (the dress is not in yet) of the dress? the store has been a nightmare and i knew i should have ordered my gown somewhere else but the gown i found (maggie sottero) was not on her website or anywhere else to get the style number.... the new dress is also a maggie... help .. what do i do?

TIA

the bottom of the receipt reads: this order is given with the full knowledge & agreement that itis not subject to cancelation. balance must be paid by first fitting. and on the back- i agree w/ the merchandise ordered above & understand that the order can not be in anyway changed or canceled. I hope theres a way around that

I think the question you need to ask is do you love the newer dress enough to lose your $300 deposit on the first one? If so then go for the new one!

I don't think so...look at your receipt and see what their policy is...or call them and ask. I don't beleive they can make you come in and pay the balance, especally if you never pick up the dress!
