So I put a deposit on my dress on Saturday at Burton's but b/c I am on a budget I reached out to other vendors to see what they are charging. Three of them came in $80+ less... should I call and see if Burton's will lower the price? I don't want to sacrifice future service with them b/c I am penny pinching! What would you do?

Re: Dress Dilemma
I would definitely let Burton's know that 3 other places are willing to lower the price. It can't hurt to try.

Re: Dress Dilemma
Definitely! The worst they could say is no.
$80 isn't penny pinching. Everyone haggles!

In the end, they want to keep your business. I would let them know, I'm sure they should meet or beat the price.

Re: Dress Dilemma
$80 isn't too much- as long as you are polite and don't get nasty it'll be ok- doesn't hurt to ask. Even if they don't $80 isn't too much higher- good luck tho!!

Re: Dress Dilemma
I would ask. $80 is the price of a hair trial, so I don't think it is penny pinching.

Re: Dress Dilemma
Eighty dollars is really not that much less. You could ask Burtons if they will go lower. I wouldn't cancel your dress over $80.
