I found one I like a lot but it is discontinued and one of the bridal salons I contacted is able to get it for me. Just don't know if it is too soon to get it.....

I don't think its too soon...if its 'The One' go for it and get it. If you're not 100% sure, wait, see if you can find one you like better, and then buy it.
Have you tried it on yet? That may also influence your decision.

no way is it too soon!! if you have really fallen in love with the dress get it now...why pass up on it if you have the chance to get it?

I don't believe it's too soon. You have to be sure it gives you that 'WoW' factor when you have it on. If you don't feel like WOW when it is on it's not your dress. You will know. I thought people were crazy when they said you will know when it's your dress.
I only went to try on dresses for fun one day & found the one. I did not get it yet because it just came out so I know I have a while before they discontinue it, but I have trid on other gowns since & I keep comparing it back to this one dress. by the end of this summer if nothing else gets my eye I am just going to get it.
If you love it go for it because you may kick your self in the Butt if you don't.

i saw a dress that i like online that i believe is discontinued. But I have no idea what size to buy since Id like to lose a lot of weight.

the only thing is you may find that you like something better down the line because new style and such will be coming out each season...

If you're totally crazy about it and can't see yourself in any other dress, then go for it. If not, then I would hold off. The other girls are right; you might come across something you like more later on.
