dress dilemma

what would you do????

i found a dress that i loved, felt emotional, said this is it.....
went dress shopping again and didnt really love anything. i wanted to try the dress on again to make sure, but no one had it that day.. i called a bunch of places and only one place in the city has it, but i cant get to the city anytime soon.

i really want to order my dress, im afraid it may get discontinued. but i wanted to try it on again to get that 'omg this is the dress im going to get married in feeling' back.

would you just order it without trying it on again?? or would you wait to try it on before ordering it??

I would personally try it on again. I know what you mean about that 'feeling'. You have to make sure it truly is the one.

where did u first try on the dress? If it is only in the city I would def try and make it a point to get there........see if they are open a little later so u can go after work one night? Or the weekend if possible!

i first tried it on at a different place in the city. they dont have it anymore, they must have sold their sample. i work in new jersey, so its hard for me to get there after work since they close at 6 every week night. and i havent had a free weekend, and dont have one coming up! i just want to order it already! i want a check

Ditto. They all start to run together after awhile. Nowhere in Jersey has it at all? I'd prefer to buy it there, no sales tax!! Chances are the dress won't get discontinued in the next month, but I'd still try to make moves to get over and try that dress on. Good luck!

The same exact thing happened to me. Actually in the month I spent thinking about it my dress WAS discontinued, but somehow I was able to get it. I ordered it without trying it on a second time and I am SO GLAD I did, because I LOVE my dress!!!! I think you should go for it!

I know, and it wasn't easy to be honest ... I had to fight for it with the bridal salon ... but I got it in the end so I'm happy and can't say a bad thing about them for somehow making a miracle happen!

Ouch, that's tough. Did you try calling the manufacturer directly? I know Maggie Sottero will do a search of the state for you to find a place that has a certain dress. Good luck!!

Me too... when I looked at myself in the mirror in my dress, I got so emotional and I knew it was the one, and that was it! I went back a couple weeks later to show my FSIL and my feelings didn't change a bit, I still love it as much as the first time I put it on, so I knew I made the right choice. Hey, it cant hurt to put it on again, but if all you can think about is that dress, then most likely it's the one!

I would call EVERY PLACE in the tri-state area. Even if it's not getting discontinued, at least you know who has it. When you call, and they have it, ask the girl if she thinks it's going to get discontinued because you don't know when you are going to get there but you want that dress. The girls should at least have an idea. The discontinued list comes out I think they told me every April/May and everyone October.

Call the designer and tell them the name of the dress. They will help you locate it.

I think you should try it on one more time just to be sure.
