Dress Dilemma.....

I am having 2 ceremonies (1 to acknowledge FH's religion and one to recognize mine). The one to recognize his will be on Oct 30th in our backyard and won't be legal. We're actually having a costume party and blessing our rings that day. The one recognizing mine will be at a church on Dec 11th and will be when we sign the marriage license, have the reception, etc... I was going to get a simple chiffon dress to wear to the first ceremony -- nothing too bridal. I looked at a website where they make knock off dresses with your measurements for $100-$200 for something chiffon and flowy. Now...here's the problem. I fell in love with a dress, but it's SO similar to the one I'm wearing for the legal wedding. So...do I hope no one notices and order it because it is awesome, or do I leave it and let my dress that cost 100x more be the star?

i agree - i don't think you should buy a similar dress for the first ceremony .... but then again, it depends how similar the two dresses are

ITA. In fact, I'd take the opportunity of the two ceremonies to do something very different from the real wedding dress!
