So I got the call last week and went to visit my dress. As soon as they brought it out I knew something was wrong. The dress is clearly ivory when I ordered it in white! I tell this to the person helping me and she takes it into other lighting where it looks less ivory but NOT white. I try it on anyway and ask to try my veil on also which is WHITE. She proceeds to tell me that satin will never be stark white, which I can understand but I wasn't happy. After I changed I looked around and grabbed another dress by my designer marked ivory and wouldn't you know it match the color of my 'white dress'. She gets the owner who tries to find the swatch as another employee passes and I say 'can you tell me what color this dress is?' referring to my dress and without hesitation she say ivory. Finally the owner find the swatch and it is white unlike my dress. They will be sending it back tomorrow. Thank God I have over 4 months to get a new dress!!!

Re: Dress Drama
how could they screw that up? I mean, isn't that one of the main things to verify that you've done right before you send the order out?? jeez!!!!
i'm glad it will work out for you but that was such an avoidable headache they just caused you. i hope they give you a discount.

Re: Dress Drama
I hate when the ppl that work at these bridal shops try to tell you everything is fine, instead of admitting the mistake and working asap to take care of it
I'm so glad you have time to fix it!!!!

Re: Dress Drama
Oh wow. I think I read on a previous post that we used the same bridal salon. That's scary. I'm going there in a few weeks to look at a matching bolero--I'm going to double check my order. The woman who helped me has left--which makes me very nervous.
