I have my first fitting on saturday but was just wondering for girls who went for theirs already- did you wear make-up? I cant leave the house without make-up (yea I'm a nut) but am so afraid I will get something on my dress- what did everyone else do?

I didnt wear any makeup. But not because i was worried about getting it on my dress. I dont wear makeup unless Im at work.

I just went last night for my first fitting and it didn't even cross my mind! I hope I didn't get any makeup on it! I don't think I did because they helped me put it on over my head and it didn't brush up against my face. I think you should be safe with makeup. Just be conscious of taking the dress on and off and not making contact with your face.

I highly doubt I wore make up the first time - I know I didn't the next time I went. Realize you will have make up on the day of your wedding - just be careful. Have fun at your fitting !!

well i would say no.. because it might stain ur dress but if u r a very careful person, i think u will b fine =)

I wore make up. I also stepped into my dress so it never touched my dress.

yea I am not at all a careful person! I'll probably be lucky that I dont fall off the pedestal thing & rip the train off the dress- so I better skip the make-up

i didn't but i also stepped into my dress and she kept saying that on the day off I would step into it, so maybe you can do the same? I could see how you'd want to wear it, but maybe skip it if you're worried.
