Dress Fitting Questions??

Hi ladies....i have a few questions.

I gave RK Bridal a 'fake' wedding date when I rodered my dress not thinking it would come in so fast. So they scheduled my fittings based on that date and my fional fitting is schedules for 11/19, which is 5 weeks before my wedding date.

Is that too early for my final fitting???? I'm concerned that it might be, since my wedding date is 12/27.

Also, I know I have to take my corset/spanx for the ffittings, but what about a crinoline? Where do I even get it? Do I get it at my first fitting or before? I know nothing about crinolines

i think that day is too early, tell them...... you forgot you had to change the date by a few weeks due to some family reason or something and silly you with bride brain forgot to tell them before....sorry
and ask them to reschedule fittings with the new date

It sounds a bit early to me....the final fitting is usually 10 days-2 weeks before.

If you are wearing a crinoline, you should definitely wear it to the fitting. You should wear exactly what you are going to wear under your dress. The people in the bridal shop should be able to recommend the correct crinoline to go with your dress.

I'll call them and just say that I had forgotten to give them my new wedding date when I went. That it had changed from the original date and i forgot to give them the udated date when i went to try on the dress and only just relized it as I was putting my fitting schedule into my calendar.

How does that sound?

Great !! I bought my crinolin at Davids Bridal for $59 with 15% off ..I am a plus size so it was probrobly more than the regular sizes. You definitleyneed your crinoline for your fittings - mine goes up really hih so it helps smooth me out a bit
