i did my first fitting 8 weeks out, second fitting 4 weeks out, and my last fitting was 2 weeks out.
be careful with the last one...i would schedule as close to the wedding as you could...many brides loose alot of weight due to stress be4 the wedding...my cousins dress didnt fit the day of because she lost a lot of weight during the week!

I did my first fitting on Jan 4th and my next fitting isnt till March 1st.
my sister in law had her last fitting a few days before the wedding! that is what i intend to do!

I would try to schedule your last fitting as close as possible to your wedding
My wedding isn't until June but my gown came in and I want to do a fitting ASAP. I just want to make sure everything is ok with the gown, that the hollow to hem came out right, no damage, make sure it fits, like if it's too small and I need to lose a ton of weight I need to know that. I always want to figure out whether I will wear a bra, so I can get that as well. I probably won't go for another fitting until months later after that, and the final a few days before, no sooner than a week.

My dress fitting is in April and i'll get the dress back in May... weddings not til August so i better not change between May and August! LOL

I was told two months before the wedding would start the fittings.
I just had my first fitting this week. Second (and hopefully last) fitting is scheduled for early March. Wedding is in the end of march.

I only needed two fittings, my first was 4 weeks, my second was 1 1/2 weeks.
