How far in advance before your wedding are you girls having your first dress fitting? I have mine scheduled for February 2nd but someone told me that, that is early to have a dress fitting for an April 12th wedding. I figured if anyone would know it would be you girls!

mine will be 1 month before the wedding so I am going to have all the girls go the last week of May or June 2 the latest

Yeh, I've seen a lot of January/February girls go for their first fitting at the end of November-December....about 2 months before. HTH

im having my first fitting in the beginning of april & my wedding is in June they said it still gives enough time in case we need a second fitting- I think it depends on where you go and especially if you advise them beforehand of any weight gain or weight loss then I think they will consider starting earlier

I am starting mine at the end of this month so i think it is okay for 1 1/2-2 months before the wedding day.

i did my first fitting 2 months before the wedding, that's what the salon suggested, and i have my 2nd fitting on the 31st. for me it worked out, it gave me a chance to eat during the holidays, and a chance lose it all before the next fitting.

id like to start mine 2 months before - i want to have as much time as possible b/c i have a feeling i will be very picky - im smaller than the smallest size demetrios makes and i want my dress to fit me tight like its supposed to - oh and the fact that they will have to make me boobs makes me a little nervous
