Dress for after reception

For everyone who is going or has gone to a hotel for their wedding night what do you wear? Is everyone wearing their dress out of the hall to the hotel or are you supposed to get changed into other clothes. What would you do with your dress?

Most girls wear their dresses

Or you can ask someone to bring a change of cloths to the hall the day before. If you have a bridal suite you can change in there. But most girls I know wear their dresses until they are in the hotel room. Some change into jeans if they are meeting everyone in the hotel bar after the reception (for an wedding that ends late, not an afternoon one).

What I did..

Our reception ended late so we went straight to the hotel when the affair ended. I just wore my gown to the hotel. It's easier that way rather than carrying it.

In fact, I may even wear it on my honeymoon!!! HEHE OK, I'm kidding. My wedding ends at 5:00 p.m. and we've invited people back to the hotel bar to hang out - I'll wear my dress to the hotel and change there. I packed a bag w/ a casual outfit for that evening. :)

I didn't want to take mine off! I loved wearing it so much at the end of the night I was sorry that I wont be wearing it again.
