dress ? for married ladies

My dress is really heavy and I worried that I will be uncomfortable later in the night.

For you ladies who had heavy dresses, How did you feel after a few hours in your dress?

Would you suggest getting a second dress?

surprisingly i was fine, i thought i would get real hot in it and thought it'd be heavy to wear it all day long. I had no problems, even dancing i was surprised how easy it was to dance. Not once did i think omg this dress is so heavy. After the wedding we went to a hotel 2 for days, and its funny bc when we were leaving DH went to pick up my dress off the seat and he couldn't believe how heavy it was, and said he cant believe i walked around all day in that. It was very heavy to carry but wearing it was fine.

good point, things like that can make you hot

i wore JUST boy shorts, didnt even wear a bra bc top of dress was fitted very close to my body when i had no bra on and it wouldnt close with a bra i tried it on with, well it was a thick bra so maybe thats why lol but i didnt want anything underneath so just went with cotton boy shorts

i think you'll be fine too. By the end of the night, it did feel good to take it off. I think its just because my body wasn't used to that much weight. But my dress was mostly uncomfortable because it was laced up a little too tight. Even with all that discomfort it really didn't bother me, cuz its so much fun wearing the dress!
