yeah exactly, i feel bad that happened to her, imagine getting your dress 3 days before your wedding, like uhmmm great what do you want me to do with it now...Good thing she went and bought another dress before that.
And yeah its nice what she is doing, and the outlook she is having on what happened. She might be able to help someone who really deserves it and mean so much to them

Yeah it is cute and gonna be hard for her to pick a winner bc im sure shell get a ton of responses.
Its also great bc not only will it help one person, but it can help many people just by her story...You can freak out and get down on yourself, but just bc something bad happens doesn't mean its the end of the world...there can be a positive thing to come out of it...And this is something that she will remember for the rest of her life, and the feeling she will get from helping another bride out will be a memory she will always cherish

I just looked her up on Google - it appears that she was one of the writers of 'Sex and the City'! I can totally get that she's doing this, especially now that I know that.
(I just mean that she doesn't seem to care about the money, and that this is kind of 'girl power', you know?)

I bookmarked the website, cause in the newsday article she says that she will post the winning girls essay, and also she is going to post exerpts (sp) from some other ones that really touched her.
