I found a dress that I liked at a 2 different bridal salons and they would not give me the name and style of the desighner. I really like the dress but I dodnt want to purchase it from these two places cause of bad experiences in the past. All the tags are removed so I cant identify the maker of this dress on my own. Any suggestions of what I can do??

Re: Dress help!!
That is sneaky!! I thought that they usually tell you that stuff or the tags are in the dress AT LEAST! Maybe try taking a picture while you are in the dressing room and post it on here and maybe someone will recognize it.

I hate that.....In addition to a pic, check inside the dress for the little ribbon hanger things, sometimes there's one at the bottom for the train.
Do the bridal shops websites list the designers they carry? I'd start there and look at every dress on those designers websites.

I went to a shop that did that, I did not purchase from there. They would not tell you the designer unless you purchased it. I did not like that at all a BIG turn off to the store.

oh man that really *****. I wouldnt buy from a place that was that sneaky. My place told me everything I wanted to know about the dresses I liked. If you find out which dresses you like i highly recommend Fantasia Bridal Center in Rocky Point.

Ummmm let me see......was one of the places Paradise Bridal? It just seems so shadey that they remove the tags. Describe the dress and maybe someone can figure it out or at least figure out who the designer is so you can go on their website to find the dress.

Re: Dress help!!
My sister went through this at her wedding. She told the women that she couldn't buy a dress until our dad saw it. She then explained that our dad couldn't get in because he works til 9. She asked if the dress was in a magazine? They gave her a magazine. She took it, left and bought the dress elsewhere for $400 cheaper! Sneaky but it worked! Good luck.

Re: Dress help!!
yeah that happened to my sister! They gave her the number they use in the store but when she looked it up it was not the same number. She called the store and spoke to the owner and he gave her the correct style number. She said she wanted to show her friends through the designer website.
Good luck!

Re: Dress help!!
Thats not the store I used...but check the 2beBride website....I've learned a lot of their dresses are carried in stores that don't inform you of the designer.
