I made an appointment for this Saturday at Bridal Suite of Centereach.
I'm not really looking at dresses much before I go b/c it has been confusing the hell out of me.
what should I wear in regards to undies and bra??
any questions I should ask? so lost in this whole planning thing

Re: Dress help and questions for first time going!
i wore a strapless bra and a thong the first time and i was a little embarrassed to have this cute little old lady looking at my bare butt the the next time i wore spandex shorts. I only remember asking who each designer was the price and what colors the dresses came in.

It's also good to ask where they cap their alterations. Some places are around $300 where others are as much as $600 and you have to figure it into your overall budget.

If you really like something and you are willing to buy it, don't be afraid to ask for a discount. Ask them if that is the best price they can give you for that specific dress.

That's good advice... LOL!
Also, ask how much to bustle and ask whether or not the designer offers a hoop-to-hem option (there are some designers that will make your dress up to 3 inches shorter without charging you for it)
And TRY ON EVERYTHING!!! Even if you think to yourself: ehh I dont like that design - JUST PUT IT ON!!!
You'll be surprised by what you like

Very True. You never know, you will think you don't want to try on a mermaid style ect, and it will wind up looking amazing on you.

Re: Dress help and questions for first time going!
have soooo much fun! I just went for my first time this past sat and it was great! My advice is to make sure your hair and make-up looks good bc for me, personally, I have a hard time liking something if my face/hair looks like crap!
bring or wear a strapless
I didn't really look at too many pix online either bc I really didn't find that much that I liked just browsing thru diff sites - luckily the dresses are much more beautiful in person. I brought pictures of my 2 favorite dresses that I found online and I think that helped the consultant see what I like
goodluck and have a great time!
