Im not sure if I should buy a strapless bra or have cups sewn into my dress. What did you girls do and what would you recommend? I have a strapless dress and my bra size is a 34B so it's not like I have a lot to control. TIA!

I'm the same size and I had cups sewn in. I hate strapless bras, they always feel like they're about to fall down on me!

Being part of the IBTC i had cups sewn in and wore a bra. If you are comfortable not wearing a bra then I would have cups sewn into your dress

ETA: cuz im a dummy.
Either way i dont think you can go wrong. that is the truth. The only difference is one is attached to your person and the other is attached to your dress. IMHO I think the bra is the best choice, but that is me. I felt a better sense of security in the bra then with just cups
Also, if you fit/fill the bust of your dress I would go with cups. Me the bust of my dress was HUGE! So I needed to fill it

Re: Dress help for an '08er!
I wore a low line bra, it was perfect! by just wearing a strapless bra, it would've shifted around too much for me, a low line bra stays put a little bit better, but if you go that route, than I would recommend having tabs put into your dress so it really stays put (my dress was a sweetheart neckline and I felt like the bra was creeping up while I was dancing.....annoyingggg!!!!!! lol
ETA- I'm a 34B too

go with cups, I wore a long line but so that I had support in the tummy area!

my twins are too big to have the cups sewn in but if i could have i would have definietly done that! I would suggest getting the cups sewn in - its probably a lot more comfortable than a bra

Re: Dress help for an '08er!
I wore a midline bra, even though my dress was a corset back. My chest is big (40DD) and I just felt more comfortable that way. My seamstress velcroed the bra to the dress so there was no movement, no gaping and no slipping. Also helped the bodice lie flat against the top of my chest. The midline bra also helped smooth out my sides a bit.

Strapless bra.
My dress was so tight that no slipping or sliding was possible.

For my strapless dress I wore a longline bra - it stayed up all night and made me look bigger - DH had no complaints!
