Dress is in but I'm nervous...

I waited a long time to get the dress (Dec) because I was losing weight. I've lost 46 lbs but am still not where I want to be - another 10 lbs and I'd be thrilled. Why can't I just be happy with how far I've come. Grrrrr. Someone talk some sense into me. I'm not even excited the dress is in - when it wasn't I felt I had time to keep losing.

46 pounds?!?! Thats amazing girl!!! I bet when you go and try it on you will feel amazing..what an accomplishment..you should be so proud of yourself! I am so proud of you!

if u need extra boost,bring a pic of urelf b4 u lost the weight the next time u go for a fitting and u will see howfar u have come

I felt the same way. I wasn't happy at all when my dress came in. First the sample size was too small so i wasn't sure exactly how it would fit. Second i wasn't done losing weight. I've gone so far for 3 fittings and each time they just keep pinning it and not doing the alterations bc i told them i wasn't done losing weight yet. My alterations are capped at 300 and at first i was upset about paying that much but now seeing all the work that has to be done, they're actually losing money on the deal. When you go tell your seamstress not to do any major work till the very end b/c you still want to lose weight. It will give you more motivation to get to your goal and feel good about yourself

** edited ** i totally forgot to mention the fact that you've already lost 46lbs thats fricking amazng!!!! congrats!!!! how did you do it?
