Dress opinion

Wow this is so much easier than the first time lol.

I like this dress alot. I havent tried it. But its not the look of what i consider a true wedding gown ..more elegant cocktail dress for the hostess right?
i dont want people to think I have gone off the rocker...Even though the lady at Alger house tells me we can do a vow renewal ceremony..ughhh NO..it seems too soon.

I like it! Ones that style were really flattering on me. They make your arms look great.

I think the dress is pretty and elegant too... but I'm with Tourist -- I think I must've missed something. I thought you WERE doing a renewal.... ?

Re: Dress opinion

Here is the story..we decided that instead of making it a deja vue experience..we would do something alot less formal. We intend to invite people who couldnt make it, along with our immediate family and a few other guests.

We imagine it something like having the guiests gathered on the main floor and we are introduced as their host/hotess for the evening. We will say somehting special to each other and basically serve dinner followed by a few speeches..then do our 'anniversary dance' and then party BABY. So in a sense I havent really thought up a true name for what we are doing..I just know I wanna dance to our wedding song lol....

IMO, the flowy train part MAY be a bit too much. I love the rest of it, though!

Re: Dress opinion

is that to make up for the dj problems, or were you palnning this for the start?

Sorry, I missed some stuff

Still love the dress though!

Re: Dress opinion

I was in the air about the train..thinking about getting that part altered. I am trying to find something similar...but I lied about the formal part lol.

We want a Black & white affair..DH is so excited..he will wear a black suit..think Mafia lol and his mom already asked if she can wear a cocktail gown lol...You see I am already losing control...

Tourist..we were going to have an anniversary party regardless but then I got this great idea that since we dindt do the first dance the way we really wanted to..this would be soo great.

But its fnny..I was so paranoid about hte Dj but after all the feedback from people (the grapevine kind..they all tell you its great to your face lol) I am not paranoid anymore.

Ah well it sounds very nice, very sweet. Hmmm... maybe you could call it an 'anniversary reception'?

Well in that case, I think the dress is perfect then!
