So I fell in love and ordered my dress (Allure Couture C150). I originally thought I would take off the cap sleeves and turn it into a strapless dress but now i'm not sure. Definitely need some opinions.
I think the sleeves give the dress a lot of its character. Its beautiful, btw, I wouldn't touch it.

I'm just afraid if i don't lose the rest of my weight I'm going to look like a linebacker!! I feel like the sleeves are made for someone more petite, i'm 5'8' and about 155

No i thought I looked so scary I didnt want a picture. Also the dress was one size too small when I tried it on so I didn't want to rip it!!

OK, so you wanna wear that dress anyway so wait til it comes in and if you like the sleeves (Which I hope you do cause I'm sure they'll look fab) leave em and if you really hate em, have alterations remove them. I think you have to wait to see how it looks when it fits well though!
Either way, it's a gorgeous dress!

Lol yeah I guess that is the best way. I'm closing in on 6 months now and i'm starting to stress over everything and second guess my choices

I tried on this dress and I think the sleeves are really what MAKE the dress. And the way the neckline/sleeves are cut, I can't imagine the dress without them!

Love your dress, it's beautiful!! I definitely agree, the cap sleeves are gorgeous and make the dress much more unique. I say keep them!

its whatever you feel comfortable and feel beautiful in, the dress itself is sooo beautiful, I think the capped sleeves add character, I would wait till you put it on!

Gorgeous dress! that dress will look great with or without sleeves. I personally love the way it looks with the cap sleeves!

I LOVE cap sleeves on dresses.. everything is strapless right now ... so It adds a timeless appeal! BTW.. 155 and 5'8 is a great height/weigh ratio... I'm sure you look great!

ITA!!! Its a gorgeous dress though!!! I personally love the sleeves but you will look amazing without them too if you decide you dont like them
