I am calling dress places to see if they carry the dress I am interested in. I don't really understand why they don't give prices over the phone. They are telling me we have great prices. Well then tell me what it is and I will work with you.

check theknot.com bc they have every designer on there and gives you the price range of each designer, this way you can find out around what range the dress you like is or the designer in general.
Which dress are you looking for? somebody on here might have the answer for you

they want you to come in so they can try to win you over with their service and hope you'll buy from them based on that rather than the price of the dress. theknot.com will definately give you an idea of what range the dress should be in so you can judge how good of a price the bridal shop is quoting you for......ps from what i've read everyone raves about RK Bridal's prices but that their alterations dept S.U.C.K.S!!!! good luck finding prices!!!!

I 2nd RK... good prices and service was great! get alteraions done somewhere else... thats what im gonna do

Carole from Burtons will give you prices over the phone, and she can usually beat any price. Also, I think Phyllis from Bridal Elegance will give you prices over the phone and her prices are also very reasonable.

It is a Paloma Blanca gown. I know about what the price should be. I just thought I might as well try to find the best price.

Did you check RK Bridal? They normally have low prices and they do have a price matching policy. If you can find your dress online for less than it is in RK Bridal... they beat the price by 5%.

lillettes had the best price on my PB dress. many places dont carry her designs. also make sure only to buy from authorized dealers -- i had one bridal shop pressure me big time (my price was only valid for 2 hours!!! and they werent even a registered dealer, and they lied to me about other things about the dress bc they didnt know what they were talking about)
one other bridal shop (dont remember which) claimed they would beat Lillette's by $50 but they didnt have a sample of my dress, and were further away. The guy was also a little sleazy.
Lillette's had much better prices than the other bridal shop I checked our in person that carried her designs (< $200)
A lot of the bridal shops are running together in my mind since i must have gone to 10+ in the span of one week.
