When your dress came in and you went to go view it to check it out before your first fitting, did you just go to see it or did you try it on?

i went to see mine when it first came in --my first fitting is next friday...

I ordered my dress from David's Bridal, which can be a madhouse sometimes. The dress came in 4 months earlier than expected so I took it home. I'll bring it back when I'm ready for alterations, probably in June.
