Dress Question

Hi Girls,
Anyone else have a really hard time choosing a dress? My problem is I like them all!! (well most of them).
I can usually narrow it down to 2 or 3 in each store that I like, but I don't love one more than the other. Is that weird?
I'm just getting nervous because I know I am running short on time and have to get the order in asap!

Re: Dress Question

Actually i did, My first time at davids i feel in love with 2. I went back a few weeks later and ruled one out and fell in love with another one. So then we were at 2. They went to another boutique and instantly fell in love with another one which i purchase. IYou will know when you find the right one. Go back and try them on cause you might not feel the same. worked for me. Good luck.

I tell everyone that you will know when it's the one. You will try it on and feel it and will not want to try on another one again! Also, be open-minded because you never know...I ended up with a dress that I didn't even consider, but was brought to me by the saleslady anyway and it was the last one I put on and I did not want to take it off.

Re: Dress Question

You will know lol. I tried on soo many and was like 'i kinda love this one. I really like that one.' Then when i was exsasperated and giving up, I found it. TOTALLY unlike what i had in mind but when I put it on, I said, 'THIS IS IT!' I danced on the pedestal and people actually stopped and came over to comment on it. You'll know.

One thing I WILL SAY! you might want to go back every few months before the fittings and try it on...sound weird? Well this is why...

After you are away from your dress for awhile and start seeing other dresses, new lines, other bride's pics, etc, you may start to wonder, 'was it really the dress? did I choose wisely?' I know i did and so did my BF. Yet when i go back and try it on, I feel sane again. You just 'forget' how fab you look when you're stressed with other things. Looking at a good pic of you in the derss helps too. Make sure you're not having a 'fat day' and that your makeup and hair are done nicely.

Re: Dress Question

I'm sorry, but I'm among those that never had a 'this is the one' moment.

I also liked a LOT of dresses I tried on... I spent time in the ones I liked the most and chose the one I felt the best in - the most 'bridal' for lack of a better word. It really helped to put on a veil (any one) and also to hold a small fake bouquet -- it gave me an idea about how the dress would look put together and flattering it was. Ultimately, I went with the one I felt the best in, but it took some time to pick that one because I liked several. It also happened to be the one that was most flattering for me.

But I sure did not have any 'this is the one!' moments.
