Re: dress question

I am a DD and I ordered a strapless...I hope it works. Maybe a corset top gown would work well for us girls who are larger chested!

Re: dress question

yes..you can def get a strapless gown! The seamstress will fit it perfectly to make your girls stay in...HOWEVER, I do suggest staying away from a sweetheart top. It is more difficult to hold those bad boys in, the leverage for alterations is in a different place on sweetheart tops.

Good luck!

My chest is big.. I have a strapless/corset back. They arent going anywhere.

Re: dress question

I'm a DD as well. I went with a strapless and I'm feeling totally confident but I do have a corset back to my dress. I felt an immediate difference trying that one on than with other strapless dresses I tried on.

Other than that, I think a great strapless bra is key. I am planning a trip to Blum's in patchogue in the near future to ensure a proper fit and compliment to my dress! HTH! Good Luck!

Re: dress question

hmmm my bridal party is all boobies and they said from thier experience they've worn strapless and it was ok if there was plenty of bone boning sp? and if it was not sweetheart neck line, but straight across.
Look for a dress with a corset top so that you know you'll be secured in there.

When you try them on you'll get the feel of it and see if it will be good enough for your big day. try dancing in it at the salon! Seriously and try raising up your hands and all that ---

I think if you can find a dress that's not strapless, you may be more comfortable. I think something with straps can have a longer line through the torso.

I've been blessed too, every strapless dress looked really odd on me. I went for a V-neck. So much more flatering and you can wear a real supportive bra which to me is a life saver!

I am pretty blessed as well.. I wear a large D or small DD and I am wearing a strapless.. My dress came in with cups built in and they removed the cups and it looks wonderful.. I was worried about that too, but if it's altered correctly, it will look great!!

Re: dress question

Some dresses already come with built in support and most of them you can add it in. And then make sure you get a good supportive corset bra (don't just go for a strapless kind, you have to make sure you get one that goes down your stomach/back).
