Dress question...

I ordered my dress from the Wedding Salon of Manhasset back in June. Anyone have any idea how long it might take for it to come in? I know I don't need it soon since I am getting married in November, but since they sold my sample at the Wedding Salon, I don't get to visit it or anything. How long does it take for a dress to come in? I guess it might depend on the designer. Any other Kenneth Pool or Platinum brides out there? I would call the Salon, but I feel like an idiot bugging them for a dress that I really don't need until the summer.

Hmmmm.... I ordered mine from BR in November and when I called they said it would be in the end of May and I dont need it till August. They said I was cutting it close by ordering it in November b/c of the time it takes to make but honestly I just think that they dont want to hold onto the dress so they wait to put the order in.

I would call them and ask when they expect it to be in..... nothing wrong with that!

I ordered my dress from Kleinfeld, it's a Kenneth Pool. I'm not getting it until May =( I placed the order last spring.

hey i got my dress next store at Vera orderd in june and got it in Dec... where u at the store like 2 weeks ago on a sat? i thought it might be u but wasent sure

Yes! I was there to look at bridesmaid dresses, but I went into the Salon quickly to look for my dress sample...they didn't have it!

Like Memejor, My dress is from Vera next door, I ordered mid December and I just got official word that my dress will be shipped out from Vera Wang July 16...

Did you ask them your ship date?

I wanted to show my mom my dress and they sold my sample too-so now its a waiting game for 6 months..

I ordered my KP gown from wedding salon in July of 2007
And it came in middle of february of 2008
So about 7 months or so

my dress won't be in until 6-8 weeks before my wedding...
