Dress Question...

I was watching a show the other night and brides were weighing their dresses lol!!! One girl's dress was like 7 lbs!

So is your dress light, heavy or in between?

Mine is on the heavier side but once it's on me I don't even notice

Re: Dress Question...

from what i remember - mines pretty heavy, but not the heaviest i tried on. One dress i had on hurt my back for the 15 minutes i had it on.. and the seamstress tried to bustle it for me - and it broke pins in half!
so at least my dress isn't that heavy!

hmmm, I don't really remember. My seamstress cut out a lot of the inner pieces to make it lighter (but it didn't take away from the fluffiness. On the hanger, I would probably say 5-7 pounds, but on my i don't feel it.

Mine is kind of in the middle. I def tried on dresses that were super heavy and wanted them off right away.

mines pretty heavy mostly because the train is like 6 layers of fabric which i dont think is needed but they the blue go all the way under the white

Mine is a big A-line lace gown, but it was surprisingly light.
I'd tried another lace gown right before it and it was SO HEAVY, but then when I tried mine on, I was practically floating. I wouldn't have noticed otherwise.

my dress is pretty heavy because of the crystal work but its make of tulle which is pretty light

I tried on a Quincenera dress when i was looking at sweet 16 dresses that pretty much stood up by itself it was so heavy!

Re: Dress Question...

Mine's pretty light. Most of the dresses I tried on were. I kinda choose lighter ones since the wedding is in June. If I were getting married in the Fall I would have went for a different style which probably would have been heavier.
