I have about 11 months until my wedding. I have a lot of planning done but I have yet to look for a dress. I decided that I was determined to lose alot of weight before my wedding. I lost 30 lbs in the last 11 weeks and still would like to lose more. When is the latest you think I should order my dress. I would like to possibly wait as long as I can. Thanks for the advice in advance.

I would at least go and try some gowns on to see what you like, what places you would feel comfortable with to buy your gown... I, like you, would love to lose some weight before my wedding, but I am yet to go on any kind of diet

If you want to order your dress you have up to about six months before but I would go now to get an idea. Even with the weight loss you could still see what type of gown would look best. You can order your gown up to two sizes bigger have it taken in so don't worry if you lose even more weight after you get the dress. Its easier to take in than take out!

I got my dress at David's Bridal and they only take 12 weeks to come in.

I didnt order mine yet and only tried on 2 if it makes ya feel any better...for teh same reasons as you too..except I HAVENT lost the weight I said I would...what are you doing to lose if you dont mind me asking? I have 8 months to go and I'll probably wait at least another month or two till I order

I hired a personal trainer. It was expensive but definitely worth every cent. I have tried to lose weight for a long time and it was not easy now the weight is flying off. I am losing like 3 lbs per week. I am dieting but also working out at least 4 days a week. I would definitely recommend this!!! Tiring but totally worth it.
