Dress question when getting measured

When you bring your shoes to get measured from hollow to hem, do they put you in your dress again or just measure you in regular clothes? I want to bring some of my bridesmaids to look for their dresses but I don't want a few of them to see my dress because they would end up giving FH too many details on what my dress looks like and I'd like to keep my dress a surprise

Hi lisa, I recently just had to do the same thing. They actually had me try on my dress again, measure me again to make sure they had everything accurate then measured me in my dress with my heels on. Im not sure if every place does it the same though. I got my dress from Bridal Suite of Bayshore. Hope this helps! :)

I was in my dress for every fitting especially measuring the length (that's where I needed most of my work), except when I picked it up bc it was steamed and didn't want it to get all wrinkly again
