dress questions

I bought my dress this weekend (COMPLETE IMPULSE PURCHASE) but am not getting married till October 2011! how can I make sure it doesn't yellow and stays looking fabulous for the next 18 months???

Also, can anyone suggest a good place for alterations? I bought the dress out of town, and am having it shipped to me down here.

You can order a muslin gown bag online to store it. Or you can cover the dress with a white cotton sheet. Do NOT leave it in a plastic garment bag as that could cause the gown to yellow.
