I know ive read posts of other people having this, i love my dress, but lately i have seen others that are catching my eye and im wondering if i made the right choice! has anyone ever changed their order? i ordered it back in April!

I just looked at your pix in your album - and you look seriously STUNNING in your dress. Remember you picked it for a reason - I know that you might still be second guessing yourself, but in my opinion, your dress is perfect on you!

I agree. I kept looking until my dress came in. When I went for my first fitting, I saw what I thought was more of my 'dream dress'. Tried it on and was about to switch when I decided to try my original dress on again, and I fell in love all over again and kept it.
There will always be dresses that catch your eye, but there's a reason why you bought the dress you did...don't second guess, you'll drive yourself nuts lol.

I did a re-select 2 1/2 months after ordering my original dress. Thankfully the salon hadn't even put in the order to the designer so it was an easy save for me.
If you are having second thoughts you need to call your bridal salon immediately. If the designer already cut the fabric it's too late. You would lose your deposit on dress #1.
Trust me though, even after doing a re select I've second guessed my gown. And I LOVE my gown, the lesson here is that there's always going to be a dress you like better.

I bought a new dress but I spent a few months trying on my first dress to see if it was really what I wanted to do. I couldn't be happier. I think I'm wearing my original for the ceremony.

I understand your feelings exactly! I ordered my dress in January and though I did stop looking I watched too many episodes of Say Yes to the Dress and started wondering if I had made the right choice. I didnt try on many dresses before I picked mine and didn't try on all of the styles I had picked out so I was second guessing myself. I wish I could have tried my dress on again (I'm in AZ and the dress is in NY...actually traveling in a trunk show so I can't find it anywhere!) If you can try the dress on again do it and if you still question your choice then see if there is still time to change your order.

I am worried about the same thing! I want to buy something soon, but that's the one thing holding me back... Your dress is gorgeous and what's funny is my mom has been nagging me to try on something just like that! haha I think you look beautiful in your dress and you should stop looking around and second guessing yourself. If you see something else, just try and visualize yourself in it and remember, the next gown you see might not compliment you as much as the one you ordered!
Just try and relax, focus your energy on something else wedding-related. Before you know it, your dress will be in and you'll be as happy as the day you ordered it.

agh! i feel like i am kind of going thru the same thing right now... 2nd guessing my choice. i had tried on A LOT of dresses, and i was only deciding between 2 that really were what i was looking for (and in my price range)... i guess i just didn't anticipate the search to be so hard! i still really like my dress but i guess i am just craving feedback and i hate that i'm not going to see my real dress on me for another 6 months! also i know that some other people have purchased the same dress (no one i know personally - just people on here), but i guess that made me feel like maybe it wasn't 'special' enough or something like that. i dunno! (pics in my album if you care to take a look)

OH no dress twin!! I did the same thing with our dress! But I went back and tried it on again and remembered exactly why I picked it. Why don't you go back to the store you got it from and try on the sample again! I know you said you weren't sure about the amount of crinolin so why don't you ask for a less poofy skirt and try it again and take some more pictures! That helped me out a ton.

even though other dresses are catching your eye, they may not look the way you want it to look when you try it on.
like i picked soo many dresses out of magazines, and a couple i was in love with (one since 2006, had the image saved to my computer) when i tried them on, they did nothing for me, and i was so dissapointed.
so even though they catch your eye, you may not like them on!
