So I love my dress to pieces, but I always pictured myself in something totally different. A-line, long train, lots of glitz. Now my dress TOTALLY has the glitz part covered but not much of anything else. Its very straight and the train isnt as long as I would like. When I was in the salon when I ordered it, my consultant tried to help me invision it a little fuller. They told me they could add crinoline to make it fuller once the dress comes in. She grabbed a petticoat and kinda shoved the skirt of it under the front of the dress to make it fuller. All of my BMs tell me I'm crazy for having regret, but I just cant help it. Mabye its because I always pictured something so different? I think it also has to do with the fact that Ive lost 40 lbs and still havent really adjusted to my 'new' body yet. My dress is more on the 'sexy' side I guess you would say. I dk ladies, I guess I'm just looking for some reassurance. I have pics of the dress that I ordered and a couple others in my albums. In the 'dresses that didnt make the cut' album, the first dress is kinda what I always pictured, but it didnt wow me. My dress did, but why now do I feel this way? I'm so confused and it really is kinda too late to do anything about it. If you got this far thanks so much for listening to my rediculous babble.

Dress Regret?????
I think you look beautiful in the dress. You're probably just doubting your choice bc this is such a big decision to make. Sleep on it for a bit. If you still feel the same you can always go look at a few more dresses and sell it if you find another. You should have exactly what you want for your wedding.

Dress Regret?????
I was actually thinking this same exact thought yesterday and today!! It's a normal feeling. Our weddings are only for one day, but there are soo many dresses to choose from!!! My advice is to stop looking at dresses and have faith in yourself that you chose the right one for yourself.
I have to say, in my honest opinion, out of all the dresses in your albums, *YOUR* dress flatters your shape the best. It makes you look taller and slender and gives you curves in all the right places. It definitely is my favorite of the bunch!

Re: Dress Regret?????
That's normal when u purchase your dress early. But i gotta say u look amazing in your dress. it fits you perfectly. The other one is very pretty but your dress flatters your body better. don't stress it. once u try it on again you'll feel better.

ITA! Also, I honestly see quite a few similarities in the details of the first dress and the one you bought. With the added crinoline, they will look even more similar, but the one you purchased definitely is the most flattering! For what it's worth, you look beautiful in it!

Dress Regret?????
I have dress regret to. This sounds silly but I get sad whenever I watch say yes to the dress or go into bridal salons today I was in David's bridal and saw some really pretty dresses and got a little depressed. I feel like I settled too soon, it was my first time shopping and I went to one salon only, they're are just so many pretty dresses out there I think I should've tried more. I like my dress but I don't know if I love it anymore. It don't have good pictures of it it def looks better in person. I almost want to go try it on again this weekend for validation. Maybe I'm just sad because I feel like I rushed into it I should've enjoyed shopping more!

The dress you picked is so beautiful! If you are having regret, call the salon and ask to see more dresses. Maybe trying on more will verify that you chose the right one

Dress Regret?????
The dress you picked is beautiful. If you wanted a longer train why not go with a cathedral length veil. It will give you the added length you are looking for and I think it will look beautiful with the dress.

Dress Regret?????
I had this feeling for a little while too. Sometimes I still get a little feeling of it, but I am pretty much over it. When I tried it on, I felt amazing. My mom said 'This is what a bride should look like' and everyone I was with, including myself started to cry. I NEVER in a million years thought I would go for the type of dress I did because I wanted princess ballgown, but I tried it on again at another salon and fell in love all over again. I think part of my nervousness about this dress is the fact that I want the perfect crystal belt and I haven't found one yet so the look isn't complete for me and thats a scary thought!
I watched Say yes to the dress...like crazy and started to rethink my decision...SO I STOPPED! I saw so many dresses that I feel in love with but I had to remember the one thing I told myself when I walked into the salons, 'You may LOVE a dress, but will it fit you and make you look the way you want on your wedding day?'
I would suggest trying it on again to be sure and whatever you do, DO NOT watch Say yes to the dress and try to stop comparing your dress to others! Remember, you chose your dress for a reason! lol

Dress Regret?????
Thanks ladies! I appreciate all the sweet comments! I have a couple bms that havent seen it yet so I make take them to go see it and just reassure myself that I made the right choice. I do like the cathedral veil idea but my mom and my consultant said that it might take away from the lace on the dress.... ill have to try it! Thanks again!

Re: Dress Regret?????
This is why I love this site. It is nice to see the support from everyone and to know your not the only one who feel a certain way. I had regrets also and it's nice to see that it is normal.
I agree with the ladies that your dress is gorgeous and you look absolutely beautiful in it. I think in time you will see it that way also. Weddings is so hard because you want to make sure you got the right dress and that you look and feel beautiful. We want everything to be perfect that day. You made the right choice!

Thanks so much and I totally agree with you about what a wonderful support system this site is. I can't tell you all how much it means to see a bunch of girls I barely know say such nice things. I lost the weight doing weight watchers and it's the best decision I ever made
